Visual Artist from Sweden
Kajsa -Tuva is a visual artist from Jämtland, the centre of Sweden, she had her break national break trough as an artist around year 2000. She was encouraged by other artists to continue painting and performing in her unique self-taught style. Between two-three exhibitions per year, she uses traveling and nature for broadening the repertoire of cultural experiences and visual associations used in her work.
She’s inspired by the pop-and street art as well famous artist like Niki de Saint Phalle, Paul Klee and Andy Warhol. The dynamics in her work goes cross cultural. In 2012 Kajsa-Tuva meets Fia Gulliksson and Kristoffer Andersson and she becomes the artistic collaborator and co-founder of the restaurant Jazzköket – Sweden’s No1 sustainable restaurant 2016.
In 2013 Kajsa Tuva was commissioned to coach a Swedish football team in the lower division, as part of a bigger plan, to use culture and performing art to become better and braver football players. This was a success and now the team plays in European League.
Since a few years Kajsa-Tuva has explored the phenomenon of synesthesia, shape and colors connected to taste and smell in taste works shops with food and drinks.
Since The Great Nordic Feast is not just a meal – it’s a cultural bonanza’ where the guests will meet Nordic lifestyle senses and food, Kajsa-Tuva will appear at the lunch and dinner feasts as a visual arts DJ.
