Titti Qvarnström is co-owner of Bloom in the park, the first restaurant in Scandinavia with a female head chef to receive a Michelin star and be recognized as the Best Restaurant in Sweden 2015. Formerly a semi-finalist at Chef of the year, she has also competed on the TV shows called Chefs and Battle of Chefs.
The natural beauty of Southern Sweden has always been, and remains, a major source of inspiration for Titti. Her earliest memory of food is foraging in the wood with her dad, a biology teacher who knew which plants were safe to eat. Today her gastronomic vision is to – through her culinary creations – share a small part of the Swedish terroir with people all over the world.
“My earliest food memory is being outside in Skåne, southern Sweden, with the family who spent a lot of time in the woods and the fields, where I learned which plants were edible and which plants you should steer clear of! The region, with its amazing countryside, means a lot to me. Through my food, I now have the opportunity to share the landscape I love so much, giving a little bit of Skåne to people, near and far – and now at the Great Nordic Feast in London!
